Fairfax Commonwealth's Attorney candidate raises more than two-term incumbent's entire war chest
FAIRFAX, Va. – Brittany Dunn-Pirio, Democratic candidate for Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney, announced today that as of September 28, her campaign has raised more than $100,000.
"I'm grateful for the support we've seen from neighbors across Fairfax and from friends all over Virginia following the official launch of the campaign," said Dunn-Pirio. "People here have been telling me for a long time that they want a Commonwealth's Attorney's office they can count on. What this week has shown me is that they're ready to help build one. They're uniting behind a campaign to stand up for seniors and survivors, to expand access to treatment, to protect the right to a fair trial, and above all, to restore competence Fairfax can trust."
The incumbent's campaign committee reported approximately $31,000 in cash on hand as of June 30, the close of the most recent reporting period.
Dunn-Pirio officially announced her campaign last week and will continue meeting voters across the county in the weeks ahead. The Democratic primary for Commonwealth's Attorney will be held in June 2027, and the campaign will report its full total in its next finance filing, due January 15, 2027.
